Following a further review of the available forecasts, the decision has been made to cancel today’s planned races.
Forecasts continue predict gusts of over 30 knots, with some showing gusts of 40.
As an organising committee this is not a decision we have made lightly, but with a forecast of wind speeds in that range the safety our race officers would be at risk.
A social event will still take place at the hoist dock in Portishead thus afternoon where there will be complimentary drinks and snacks.
